    Recon have had a closer look and it seems one of the carrier bearings is slightly off angle

    Reverse with full lock and the car just stops but if I jack up the back wheel it turns slowly

    Is that the cv joints on the driveshafts or the one on the prop the vibration seems to be coming from the front I also have a slight knock from passenger wheel so could possibly be cv boot

    The ird , vcu, and bearings where all new the guy I bought it off just put the new ird in but didnt refit props and vcu that's why I deceived to put a new vcu on as it was probably the vcu that damaged the ird originally

    Just fitted a new vcu on my freelander as it was in 2wd when I got it and there seems to be a lot of vibration coming through the floor especially around 30mph is this normal or have I fitted it incorrectly

    just taped them on with a socket and one doesnt even spin at all i also learne that when you use a reverse puller to remove the old ones cover the end of the shaft where the threads are as i damaged mine on the inside where the prop to vcu bolt goes :mad:

    I've looked at them but to far away there is a place in Durham recons them including new bearings will probably get the recon unit just incase the old one caused the transfer box to fail cheers
