BP Ultimate Diesel has an anti foaming agent, it's silicon based. The stuff in vegoil is E900 (a food e-number) Dimethyl-polysiloxane. The question is....is the stuff that BP use the same stuff that's in the (cheap) vegoil?

I was chuffed to get 40 litres of KTC vegetable oil from bookers today, then when I read the box it says it's GM Soya oil with E900 anti foaming agent. Is anyone else using this or is it cr@p? I had a badly leaking sunroof in an old Renault Clio, put up with it for weeks. Then I smeared fairy liquid along the rubber seal and it never leaked again. It seams to make the rubber more flexible.My disco is bog standard, no sunroof so one less place for it to leak!

Sorted the Clunking, New shock absorbers fitted today, £34 each from LR dealer, fitted in an hour. The rubber grommets had perished. Drives great now, no clunks, much less bouncy too!
