i had this problem its air in the fuel system somewhere theres an air leak in the fuel line my was the pick in the fuel tank

do you think a fuel pump of a 2.5 4 cylinder petrol would be alright

the engine is in a defender 90 and ive converted it from efi to carbs and it will fire on easystart

its got a good spark and the plugs are slightly damp and when i put the timing wright when turning the engine by the starter motor when i choke it after a couple of turns it stops the starter dead then will go over and do the same on nearly every cylinder

ive recently converted my 3.5 to su carbs and it would not start so i got told to look at the timing so i put that wright and it fires alot when trying to start it but it wont just pick up and go :confused:

just converted my v8 to su carbs but it wont start it pops sometimes from the carbs does fire sometimes with a bit of smoke comeing out of the exhaust but just wont start. can anyone help?:confused:

the v8 will fit in there a treat not sure about the auto box but if you got a complete range rover take the back axle out and put it in the 90 youll need it and its got disc brakes to ive got a 90 with a 3.9 v8 efi on a manuel box but not hade it going yet. if you got the v8 in rangy still...

normally the series 3 diesel engine only goes about 40 - 45 mph anyway so wouldnt worry

the black smoke on start up is a 200tdi thing they all do it. It could probabley be oil going in to the engine through the turbo

found a disco 1 bit shabey good chassis but got lots of mouse **** in it how much should i pay for it
