    Power steering

Can you remember the cost of the pipe? Don't mind replacing and playing parts darts if it's cheap, if a replacement looks the same and is the norm id rather save the pennies and start with a fluid change and see what happens.

    Power steering

Hi, Have a question for you re the power steering. It's on a 1.8k series. No massive problem but just doesn't feel quite right. I get a lot of noise when turning, any amount of direction change and sounds like it comes from the steering wheel itself, almost sounds like an electrical whine or...

I use one of the delphi tools, well, china clone. Good for me as I have a few cars and can be used on them all. Not bad on my freelander, won't get into comfort modules but for the basics, engine, srs, etc is just fine. It does generate nice looking logs etc. this log i saved today

K series cambelt and water pump

Cheers for the replies. Yea k-seal was just a last ditch attempt to buy me some time untill pay day after spending £100 on clutch hydraulics and in anticipation of a HG problem as there was no visible leak. Block tester showed all good and after having the under-tray off i can see it's leaking...

Hi all, My first problem post! my 1.8 k series has a leaky water pump. Bottle of K-seal didnt sort it so Im going to replace the water pump and seal. Quite wet around there so I guess I'd be wise to replace the cambelt and coolant temp sensor whilst im at it. My question is for the cambelt...
