What MPG do you get from your LPG?

135L capacity (made up of two linked tanks). The most I've refilled with is 110L and I've squeezed 310 miles out between refills.

    engine diabled p38

This has happened to me a couple of times. The way I got the immobiliser off was to use the "Emergency Key Access" procedure which involves locking and unlocking the drivers door a number of times according to your EKA code which is specific to the vehicle and obtainable from a Land Rover dealer...

    P38 service in Bristol

Ironically, a 'few' weeks after I posted the message mentioning Fews, they returned my P38 unserviced  saying that they don't work on dual-fuel vehicles (despite having carried out the 3 prior services since LPG conversion without complaint!). Anyway - I WAS a happy customer! Now...

Advice.. Want to own a Range Rover

I get around 300 miles between LPG fill ups with a 135 L (110L useable) tanks. I got to keep the petrol tank with this RPi conversion, but lost the spare wheel well. It is true that it is harder to find LPG; the price differential between the cheapest LPG suppliers (like Asda and Morrisons at...

Advice.. Want to own a Range Rover

On the fuel option: I've neven driven a 2.5 diesel so I can't comment on its performance. But I do know that the performance of the 4.6 is stunning for a car of its weight and type. So why not consider having the best of both worlds and take a 4.0 or 4.6 with an LPG conversion. The performance...

    Mute on Radio Display

You just have to take all the power off the radio, either by disconnecting the battery or taking out the relevant fuses. Then it will come back as normal. Make sure you have the radio code handy.

Newbie RR owner, 4.6 HSE various problems

as there are only six buttons and 4 digits, presumably the no. of possible codes is SOMETHING like 6*6*6*6 i.e. slightly less than 1300, so it wouldn't be impossible to try a few each day and get the right one eventually. An easier way would be to ask a friendly LR dealer (they do exist!).My...

Newbie RR owner, 4.6 HSE various problems

On my '95 HSE with the original ICE head (controls CD changer etc), the radio code is input direct using the preset buttons 1-6. i.e. code 1234 is input directly "1", "2", "3", "4", no tuning buttons to press or confirmation button. Stephen

    P38 service in Bristol

Cotswold 4x4 at Sapperton between Stroud and Cirencester (01285760484) are an independent specialist set up for P38s. While you asked specifically for an independent specialist, you might be pleasantly surprised if you used the Fews L/R dealership at Charfield near Dursley.

    Air Bag Default?

The posts above will, I believe, point you in the right direction. I would add that this happened regularly on my 95 HSE (about once per month). I think this can particularly happen during the starting sequence if the battery is dropping volts (through age, for example) especially if, for...
