    Whilst I got a thread going, I might as well change the line of question. is it better to fit a roof rack directly to a roll cage; or to the roof as normal?

    tried serching through the forum for threads on portal axles but no joy. question is; are they worth bothering with? do they effect motorway driving? and are they easy to fit?. hmmm should have said "questions are"

    I will have to strip out the dash again then and run some sealand on the inside as well as redoing the out side. theres no way I can lift the roof off

    Sticky side down I think; at least thats how mine was when I scraped it out and refilled it with silicone

    I even sealed the vent flaps shut as water was ****ing in through there!

    I resealed it with silicone about 6 months ago. i picked all the foam seal out and filled it with silicone

    its coming in throu the gap of the windscreen frame and bulkhead

    its enough to drive you mad but the worst thing is it flows down through all the wiring and through my speakers

    Its coming in through that gap above the vent grill where you see the lip of metal. but its not the seal as thats been siliconed
