Well there was defiantly pressure just then at the filter! The pipes on regulator are correct, they only connect to the corresponding part. And I don't think I could have mixed anything else up

OK let's go back a bit. Now with the ignition on the diesel is literally spraying out of the plug before I get it all the way undone.. also snapped the plastic thread trying to get it tighten up quickly

Come out with the same effect as if you were pouring diesel out of a jerry can....

Yes tried jump leads this evening, still no joy. When I was doing the injectors I rotated the engine so that the lobe on the opposite side of the injected was at its max height?! Should the lobe be at the highest on the injector side of the shaft?

Sierra tells me that 10v is cause for a new Battery.. not sure myself so I'm open to all options. Maybe I will be divorced by the time I get the car up and running haha

So... the rocker shaft is bolted back on, the helicoils worked a treat, timed the injectors and put the cover back on. If anyone else find there selves in this situation I would now give my vote on using helicoils. Save the expense and time of stripping the head down. Holy ****, the car won't...

I haven't tried to bump start it before but I'm sure I've read that its not advised. I will have a look at the volts tonight. So should the starter be upsetting the sensor, what's the options on this? Thought I was doing well my landy knowledge but I'm just getting more and more out of my league...

OK thanks for advice.. the battery had a full slow charge, and connected up the jump leads with another car yesterday evening to keep up the power. Will look into a new battery today

Quick update: the rocker shaft has successfully been drilled out to accept the bolts. I thought it was made of carbon steel, but it's actually case hardened mild steel. 20 quid for the job to be done, so not bad at all and hopefully start putting the old girl back together this next few...

The part of the rocker carrier that the bolts go down through is slightly bigger than m8. I wanted to get a good thread for the heli's, so I went M10. The m8 thread wouldn't be deep enough to hold the heli's... Why not? It's just 2 holes that need to be 1mm bigger. I just don't have a drill...

Just done my oil pump bolt thus weekend. 99 with 134k on the clock. The bolt was tight, but had no thread lock on it. Cheers
