Well... I went shopping today, and having had a good look round I have found myself a bargain X-Trail, which I'm picking up next week.

Wasn't looking at a Landy on the grounds of price and mpg, and everyone I have spoken to outside of this forum has told me to steer clear because of reliability/build quality issues.

I'd love to but unfortunately the X-trail I had my eye on has gone, sold an hour before I got there! :( and I don't think my astra will get me very far! So I'll have to keep looking... but thanks for the offer :-)
