If you have fitted new bump stops even if EAS was buggered it would still leave a gap when fully lowered unless the bump stops are smaller than originals or the tyres are much bigger.

I was told when I took my old Classic (single point LPG) in for a MOT that they had to test it how it was presented so that it would be a good idea if I drove in to the garage on LPG, hint hint nudge nudge.

Actually turns out that it's a bit irrelevant as the Britpart motor was for a V8 and the diesel version is £188 so probably going to Island anyway (or maybe Ebay).

I need a new starter motor (or will soon as current one is on it's way out). Britparts are selling for £90 vs Island 4x4 for £150. Is it worth the risk to save £60?

decided it was too much of a pain in the arris and so removed battery box, dead simple and wish I'd done 20 mins ago instead of trying to short cut. Hands now black from the crap that's inside the intercooler, definitely worth doing.

Currently trying to remove the intercooler and struggling on the last bolt down by the battery box. Does anyone who has done this without got any tips, trying to do without removing battery box. Cheers Dr W

Really? I've been told by my old local LR garage that the P38 has a govenor in the autobox and that dirt in this can cause a delay in going up through the gears? Will have to do some more research?

Interesting. I get the same thing and it's got worse of recent but also my tailgate latch is worn and needs replacing, sounds like a connection between them. I'll have to check once I've replaced tailgate latch and see if any improvement.

Did this last year as I thought it would improve the slight delay between 1st and 2nd but it didn't help, think its dirt in the govenor but not done anything about it. Perhaps it's time to do it again. Going to clean intercooler this weekend so will leave servicing autobox for another day.

Is this sluggishness all the time or only when setting off from cold? Mine has similar issue when setting off from cold and while the gearbox oil warms up. It doesn't change up and the engine revs until I get to the end of the road and then it starts behaving itself again. I guess my gearbox...
