If you got the kit to do it then why wait ???? as stated in sh1t stacks of threads all the egr does is cake up your intake system on a newish motor you probably wont notice much difference

Hey all, my 300tdi auto seems to have alot of vibration when accellerating, when i ease off the throttle and let her coast no more vibration, so checked all the uj's which seem fine to me also the rubber donut on the rear prop although starting to perish and crack hasnt gone all the way through...

I was gona post a long boring bit on sale of goods act etc but ...... i cant be bothered but i will say that the op is gona have a hell of a hard time going up against LR and if he didnt buy it direct from LR he dont stand a cat in hells using the s.o.g. act as the case is against the seller not...

So does mine, think it might have summat to do with it weighing in at over 2 1/2 ton if it dont change down soon enough then hit the kick down

Hey up Cat5, not long had my 300Tdi and fuel consumption is scary :eek: specially round ipswich ;) but then i did expect it to guzzle a bit its worse than my 3 1/2 ton transit :( , im doing all filters and egr removal this weekend in the hope it will improve a little bit.

Hmm moral dilemma ???? why not a third option ..... see if he will price match the parts, personally i go to whoever is cheapest although depending what youre buying cheapest aint always best plus aftersales service is perhaps summat to consider .... go ask you never know

You want a mig welder to repair sills forget arc or gas as to what one how much do you want to spend ? theres no reason why a novice couldnt do it other than setting yer car on fire or wasting a reel of wire and a bottle of gas and not to mention getting really frustrated cos its spitting and...

Hey all, another post from me regarding the auto box on me 300tdi, had to repair the dipstick tube on the auto sump whilst doing this i replaced the filter in the box fitted new gasket and filled her back up with atf, before this the box was nice and smooth, changed into second around 2k now...

Sorted this today, no o-rings or olives or anything in it its just like a big brake pipe union, anyway it works out the pipe cracked where it was fitted into the sump, why it cracked i dont know anyway bloody thing wont crack again as i had it welded both sides. Bit of a ****ty idea tho of how...

Hey all, am embarking on a few upgrades to me disco, first thing to be done is the EGR mod, then its off to get a cat free downpipe, in amongst new filters new fluids so on and so forth anyway ...... me local indy landy place recommended this static fan type thingy that goes in the air intake...

Spent four hours under me disco today, piggin at fluid everywhere in me eyes up me nose in me mouth in me hair nice one :eek:, went to use a m8s 2 post lift to find that we couldnt get it on it so ended up on me back takin the auto sump off to have the dip stick tube thingumy welded after it...
