    Freelander Faults poll

I was pulling your leg Alberto! and your input is appreciated. I'm the FL1 biggest critic, it has many faults and at the same time one of its biggest fans. The L-series is a solid engine, the most reliable of the bunch, some N.I. Rover drivers tune their L-series to 150bhp.:cool...

Another update, I haven't devoted much time to this wagon and after several weeks battery had lost charge again. After a proper 12hr charge (not just jump start) the ABS light was back on It seems that pumping the brake hard several times seems to clear the fault and the light...

For a minute there OP, I thought I was watching Jim Trott from the Vicar of Dibley - no no no no no no no! As for the U-shaped wire, this is the best tool of choice for the R660 which was the most common head unit fitted by LR (and Rover) up until 2002

    Windscreen wipers blade replacemeb

Does the 23" one not overlap on the LHS pillar? The OEM are 22" IIRC? On most modern vehicles, the wiper blades can not be seen when fully down, they recess into the window valance. On the hippo they sit up high on the window. I started a wiper thread few years back...
