I recently bought a pair of Bosch Super Plus on ebay from carwipers and they are excellent. No noise at all. About £14.00 (22" and 21")

I would shop around though as I probably paid a bit too much.

last year i had the bosch .. they were fine but started to split after about 12 months
so thought i'd try the valeo flat blades ( that evidently don't stick in freezing temps )
changed over just before last winter .. so far so good .. they do the job well .. quiet in rain ..
bit noisy once the rain stops :) .. only time will tell how long they last

I have recently fitted the Bosch Aero twin blades to the front. They are excellent.

23" £3 from the Range

Does the 23" one not overlap on the LHS pillar?

The OEM are 22" IIRC?

On most modern vehicles, the wiper blades can not be seen when fully down, they recess into the window valance. On the hippo they sit up high on the window.

I started a wiper thread few years back

I didn't like the aero blades, especially the big plastic connector, it was an eyesore!!

Having looked at the Pound shop versions they have that classic look, which IMHO suits the Hippo,

Pointer - keep the U shaped plastic attachment clips as spares, cheaper versions can be brittle

22 ins on driver side 21ins passenger side on the face lift although I think for the pre face lift it is 21ins drivers side 20 ins passengers side although I could be wrong as always

Just checked, they fit just right with a bit to spare they dont even reach the top of the windscreen, 24" on drivers side and 22" on passenger.

These are just the bog standard metal framed ones

Always fitted Bosch Aerotwin's to all my previous cars, need to replace my blades like so will probably fit them to the Freelander when I remember to find some...
