    Yes, I understand the correct method. However this is the way it currently seems to work. For instance now it works perfect starting in D. However it woulld not have until I started in first. have to buy second hand gearbox. The first has failed.

    To be honest I dont really trust this 'p38 magic'! :D I wonder could it just be the oil needing change? I'm afraid to floor it because I reckon it would then fail again? I'm just trying to figure out if I need a new gearbox or can It be saved?

    Hello, This evening I went to the car and again no drive in any gear except 1st and Reverse. However once I got going a began to change up manually something which I didnt expect happened. It changed up perfect and has been working perfect since in all gears. How can this be?

    I put in 6 glowplugs from britpart about 4 months ago into my RR. She would only start on second round of heating... Recently the all gave up. Removed the glow plugs to discover that two of the tips were broken and also the other 3 or 4 had also failed. Complete Rubbish. Just fitted Delphi...

    After the car has sat for the night, when one puts it into D and revs but moves very slowly. I'm thinking clutch pack too? however what part of the setup is this in? Is it part of the main gearbox? Will the gearbox from a 4.0/4.6 litre fit the jeep? She is a 2.5 Diesel.

    Hello, I was driving my RR when all of a sudden I heard a pop. Then their was no drive in D, 3 and 2. Gearbox works in reverse. The gearbox changes into low, and the same only R and 1.... it revs as if it is in netural. What could the problem be?

    Glow plugs are thoes from birtpart. So I assume thats the make. Only used easy start twice try to avoid the stuff as best i can. Dont think it's the fuel return lines as they're only new. Any checks I can carry out? thanks
