This may sound odd, but, petrol on a rag may fix the discolouration it can help remove deep down stuff (waiting for the burning your motor up in flames jokes) :)

Struggled with a mud read door panel and no available hacksaw. Also started bolting the roof back on, slow day in other words......

@tripp, thanks I have a bumper Im just not really keen on how it looks. I just spoke to a friend who can chop things up and hopefully put them back together properly. I think the plan is to take my bumper (rage with daytime running lights) and shorten it so its just proud of the mounts and...

One thing I was thinking of trying was a plate between the front jack mounts to hold the number plate and no bumper, mainly just to see how it looks. Im not sure if this could be considered a bumper or not in that case...

AFAIK, its about sharp edges, really there isnt any without the bumper, so maybe its alright anyway

I cant decided what bumper to throw onto my project, and for purposes of getting it tested etc, am I legal to drive around with no front bumper? PS I did a few searches, but opinions seem to differ per vehicle type. So is anyone here driving around without a front bumper? Cheers
