Changing Xenon Back To Original Bulbs.

    Ok, thanks.:)

    Step fitting part nos

Agreed. But every time I tried on mine the rivnut just crushed up in the chassis hole, not behind it.

    Step fitting part nos

Ah, ok. Still, they're not the easiest things to get tightened properly.

Changing Xenon Back To Original Bulbs.

Scuse the ignorance, is/are the ballast the metal box fitted each side where the wiring for the Xenons come out of or is it something else/

Changing Xenon Back To Original Bulbs.

My RR has Xenons fitted by the previous owner and they're a pain. The driver's side radomly decides not to work and I get the constant bulb failure warning on both sides. Looking at it I think it's a 'plug and play' system. So my question is, can I just unplug it and go back to regular bulbs...

    Step fitting part nos

I'm in the process of fitting side steps to mine and the rivnuts supplied are 10mm. They fit nicely into the pre-drilled holes in the chassis but getting them to 'crush' up properly is virtually impossible as the hole, particularly the top hole, is close to the rear side of the sill. To stop...

    Oil Leak.

Thanks guys, I'll get it ordered from Island 4x4. :)

    Oil Leak.

Hope so, that's what I'd like conformation of before looking on Fleabay for a replacement.

    Oil Leak.

Just found this useful diagram....but is the oil cooler (21?) actually part of the rad? As in can I buy it seperately?

    Oil Leak.

    Sorry, yep, it's a 2000 4.6 petrol auto.

    Oil Leak.

Just found that the engine has used 1 litre of oil in 4 weeks and the culprit, so I'm told, is the oil cooler. Is this part of the lower radiator and, if so, how easy is it to remove/replace?

    What's this?

Ah, that makes sense, yep, washer fluid is blue. Had a look at the O/S wiper arm and the small rubber feed tube is missing including the connector on the base of the arm being broken. Another Fleabay search coming up....

    What's this?

Sorry for poor picture quality. It's the tube hanging down (on the front driver's side) with the longish, thin nipple on the end. It does leak fluid (blue tinged water) but at a loss as to what it is.

    Air Suspension Problem?

Well it seems to be ok at present, hasn't done the light flicker since last Thursday. The only thing is the stationary thing where it feels like the suspension is 'breathing', moving up and down slightly. But if, as Datatek says, it's normal then I'll not worry about it.

    Fuel Gauge Stuck On Full.

Thanks for the replies. Seems there isn't a fault....I filled her up again thinking that it might free the float if it was stuck....turns out that it's hardly using any petrol as it only took £3 to fil to the brim again. Drove it on petrol only for a day and the guage has moved. So, on LPG...

    Removing Silicone Spray.

Thanks for the replies. The wife had the idea of using surface wipes and it seems to work. Takes a couple of goes but it"s doing the trick. :)

    Removing Silicone Spray.

The previous owner has hosed the whole interior with that fecking awful interior spray ****e and I'm having trouble totally removing it. Any suggestions?
