    well the funny thing is turning it Anti clock wise has less resistance than clockwise, yet turning it ACW makes the indicators flash whereas CW does nothing, should they flash from turning the key in both directions? Adam

    Bazbar, as in OP and my post in your topic, i have the same fault as you, but also had a different fault with number 4 injector so this was replaced, the injector fault went but the injector light coming on on decelleration is still there so number 4 injector can't be causing the fault...

    i've got the same fault on mine, and also had a different fault with no 4 injector which caused it to have basically no power, couldnt even drive up my lane. put new injector in and that fault went but the fault with fuel quantity actuator and the light coming on on deceleration still there...

    with the RF receiver completely disconected will the Becm go to sleep? mine has a steady current draw of .5A that never drops below that. i have disconnected the power wire to RF receiver but will try completely unplugging it if this will help. will i be able to lock/unlock the car with it out?

    yeah ashcroft sell the VCU's for £375, rebuilding the IRD myself was the other option but i think even the ebay kits come close to the £450 price exchange unit i've seen so it just wouldn't be worth the risk, theyre on ebay the exchange units so i didnt dream it :) will wait and see what...
