The heated rear window and heated mirrors have stopped working on my 1999 Disco 2 TD5. The light comes on on the switch and I can hear the relay click but the windows and mirrors don't clear. Any ideas anyone?

Managed to get one brand new nearside headlamp guard and fixings off E-Bay for £20 so that's just dandy.

My Disco 2 has headlamp protectors fitted (part no. STC50026). I now need to remove the nearside one to gain access to the indicator assembly but find that the two screws on the side are rusted up and the posts rotate. Getting them out isn't my concern but does anyone know where I can get...

I had exactly the same thing last week. Before starting the engine next time try moving the gear selector from park to 1 and back again a few times. It cleared the problem for me and has not re-appeared in three days so far.
