When i worked in the motor trade we used super fine wet and dry, much easier to polish than 1200 and less chance of rubbing through the paint or lacquer,fine artists brushes are great for touching in scratches.

Bonnet Could have been painted, a damaged bonnet or rust,is there a slight colour difference too the wings,or someone not wearing their glasses when they replaced the lettering :eek:

Hi guys new to the forum,got myself a freelander Td4 last Thursday from a dealer, and on the Friday the sunroof stuck open,getting it done on the warranty but they've had the car since last Saturday, realistically how long should this take to repair. Chris
