Just a comment on a paint chip kit I've just purchased from eBay.

Simply brilliant, it comes with the paint, a two-pack lacquer and some ingenious little applicator sticks for application. Way better than the usual crappy brush you get with most kits.

Good price too.

what grades the wet and dry? ive used 1200 in the past. with water and washing up liquid to bring faded paint up but im lucky in that ive got a really good polisher which made life a lot easier after. ive got quite a few scratches on mine i wouldnt mind getting rid of. in the old days i used to use the paint and put it on with the corner of a piece of tissue then let dry and then wet and dry it but would def appreciate an easier way. some before and after pics would be cool.

When i worked in the motor trade we used super fine wet and dry, much easier to polish than 1200 and less chance of rubbing through the paint or lacquer, fine artists brushes are great for touching in scratches.

cool. a wander down the art shop it is then. on a similar note has anyone tried smoothrite on the lower plastic bits. i know there rough but ive used the aerosol version before on other cars and can give a smooth finish. anyone tried it on theirs?
