a clogged filter won't overfuel it ,it will starve from fuel !!! Over fueling is a cause of a bad sensor or leaking injectors.a duff maf will make the idle bad as well as overfueling and sometimes get the gearbox fault message as well as a high rpm and strange gear shifting.check 4 faults and...

if this happened after replacing the coolant sensor,it could b a possibility that sensor is telling the ecm tht car is cold thus pouring extra fuel to act as a choke,if this is the case i suggest u reset the adaptive values after checking 4 faults.

if the airbags are old,the rubber will contract and allow air to escape,as well as o rings.

had the same,turned out to be the 2 front EAS air bags.

just give him the fooker to fix it,at least if he fixes the chassis half of the troubles are finished.or borrow some money from any of ur relatives,or work overtime!!! and pay ur lawyer to sue him and get it done. .

hello again' wht will cause a play in the propshafts?the diffs?as i have read that ujs will squeak when it is time for replacement,can they cause play?worn splines can they cause play in the front propshaft or only the rear prop? i am sure that i have worn splines in the rear passenger half axle...

well still so far so good.but i still don't trust it,like smtg deep inside my head is saying to me it is not fixed.to be extra sure i have replaced the fuel pump relay.u keep me updated also.in any new thing u do.

i agree.had a relative of mine who did an accident with his vw golf,they cut the front of the chassis rails the two sides,welded new bars with bolts and re inforcements and cross members and his car returned good as new and even stronger than before,the same with me old man in his mercury tracer...

cheers. bloody hell all that 4 2 airbags and brakes pipes and straightening the chassis?dunno abt costs in ur area but in where i am ,2 oem airbags are for 200$ brakes pipes are for 20$ each side,as for straightening the chassis they will do it for 100$,cv dunno abt it yet but no way it will be...

what u think claw how much money he'll need to fix that pile of ****? if it is me i will start with the axle chassis along with brakes line,so the car will be drivable,then the rear bags (otherwise bye bye air pump),then cv stuff then the oil leak.

did u try to hold the band + TP for 5 secs?if not try only band for 5 secs,if not remove fuse number 1 then try.
