Just to clarify, the front intermittent is just a relay change but the rear needs some wiring modification too. I don't know how to do a link but have a search on defender2.net for the thread with the how too guide :)

You can change the relay to a Vw item the Vw one has the number 99 on the top but there are a couple of wires to swop around too. There was a guide on one forum but I can't remember which. Just do a google search for defender intermitant wiper relay or something along those lines

Haha yeah mine catches cats eyes but not on motorways!!! That's why my landy is my daily and the other 3 are just weekend toys :)

I've just replaced mine with the stainless ones off eBay including the little balls and it makes a massive difference to the ease of opening the door and stopped all the creaking noises, it only cost about £15 aswell :D

Yeah it's a rabbit front, I just need a front bumper now but the shipping costs are rediculous. The westmoreland plant in America did a sportruck (gti ) edition of the caddy so I thought I'd try and recreate one only with a dirty diesel :D
