I've had this problem whilst stuck in traffic and and pushed selector across to low by mistake. I had to pull over and select all gears one by leaving them to engage before moving on to the next gear. It then went back into high with no problems. Not sure if this is the right way but it worked...

Wow that was a quick reply thanks very much. I thought i would have to take it in at some point. Managed to sort most things out myself so far. If i was to change the HEVAC unit would this still show that i had a blend motor problem or would the new one re-calibrate the motors when fitted...

As with all motors they have problems. Some of us on here have RR's that are more that 10 years old and high mileage pushed off road and used daily as run abouts. If you were to push any other car this hard I'm sure it would be well f@cked and on the scrap heap by now. They are what they are...

Ive done it see above. The sub also works.

Disco one has the same connection as the Range Rover one just plugs straight in.

I have put a disco HK in my 2000RR Vouge, it works buy only on radio no sat nav voice and no CD and only have the front speakers working but its better than nothing. Priced a new one up from RR and was £300. Maple audio have said they do them but cant seem to find one on the web site.

The only down side is when you phone work saying you cant get in due to the snow hoping for a gash day off. Then some bright spark tells your boss you have a range rover and if he can get to work in his ford focus(im sure he slept in it over night) then why cant you:o.

I'm going to attempt to adjust my steering box as i have play in the steering. Ive had the tracking done and replaced the steering damper all tyre pressure's are ok. Ive found the steering box and the adjuster is there anything i need to be aware of? Do i need to do this with the front wheels...

There is a mobile LPG service company that will come and do it at your home or work and only covers London area. Found it on the net but cant seem to find it now.

Im having amp problems on my 2000 range rover. No sound at all. Just changed the amp with a land rover Harman/Kardon amp off Ebay and now only have sound through one speaker. Im sure this is just down to the fact that this is the wrong amp. Just seen another rang rover amp from a 99 reg on Ebay...
