The MAS reading was taken by selecting the second down option at the start menu, OBDll diagnose,it selects ISo9141, press ok Then select data stream, Then view all items. does not work on the 52 plate just tried at tick over pedal 1 demand. 0.77% pedal 2 0.39% sensor supply both 5.01v

Did not want to wait any longer for it to warm up the 55 plate that is.

We also need to work up what reading comes from where, as I think I am nearly there but no idea what the capacitor reading id for or where it taken from.

pretty please moderators. I did a 55 plate this weekend which was running really well, will post results later. Hp was lower than my two and so was airflow.

So after a very short search on the 52 plate. The MAP was disconnected. Reconnected and readings normal.

I have taken a number of readings on my two TD4 , a 52 plate and a 54 plate. Think the MAP is cream crackered on the 52 plate and the airflow is an issue on the 54 plate. Any ideas welcomed. readings will be on next post as picture is on my phone.

mines the same with 83k, on the clock. Hoping it will last a few more mnths till I can sell the Transit and buy a second hippo for the other half.

Second thoughts I agree with Arctic. You could go back ask for a replacement pierburg unit and tell them you will return the pump when they supply a new unit.

Euros do a pierburg one, you may need to order it. Might be an idea to get one and wait till this start playing up. Unless you cannot stars the noise. My professional advice would be to turn the stereo up till it starts playing up.

Some people say you can get away with sockets but as a professional engineer I cannot reccomend that.

14 bolts and 30 minutes max. Torx head bolts though, had to go buy some new sockets to get them off.

VCU's can become stiff as mine did, the diff is now noisy. I have removed the prop and VCU. Going to get a second hand diff soon and replace the prop. The diff is still noisy with prop removed but not being put under any strain so should last ages like it.

Dear new member, Do the one wheel up test. plenty of info. Once you have a time for your VCU that will rule in or out the first main issue with freelanders. We can help from there.
