I now have a copy of the service manual but there are times when I won't have the time/ability/motivaton to do some things and want a reliable and clued-up local outfit to help. Electrical stuff for instance is beyond my own ability.

I'm going to attempt to flush and change the coolant on my P38 DSE. Any other hints and tips? Also, what is the capacity of the system so I can mix up the right amount? Are the drain plugs easy to reach? Also, is the drain screw on the head essential? Where is it? :)

I got some fitted on Fri in a 255/60/18 from AJS in Surrey in the end.

Where can I get some in 255x55x18? Everywhere seems to be on back order with minimum 2 wk wait. I've found a couple of local ish (Surrey / Hants border) places that will do 255x60x18 so I can change the front end to those. Any ideas out there?

Had a similar problem myself recently. Engine overheated. Turned out pipe into expansion tank blew off. Pipe back on, water refilled and it seems ok. Checked oil cap. All black. Water/coolant is not mucky. Not sure what the cause was but easy suspects would be rad cap, pressure cap.

Double beeps when superlock via fob. Boot actually opens via tail button fine - no probs at all. Doesn't make sense that boot mechanism is sticky as it works fine, doesn't stick etc All fuses previously checked and working fine :) No warnings on dash apart from 'alarm fault' - suspect interior...

Lock with remote or by key but the boot doesn't lock i.e. go to open boot after locking up, boot opens and alarm sounds. Did a quick search but only seems to show threads where boot won't operate. Any ideas?

1) Turns out I've got 2 Key 2's, although the colours looks a bit different. 2, 3) Wiper stalk is knackered. Temp wiring fix but really need a new stalk. Still no intermittent wipe, but will now wash and will reset the wipers in right position and do the flick up for a single wipe. Anyone know...

Just tried the key fob sync procedure from rangerovers.net It worked on the non-working fob! Only problem is the first working fob now doesn't work :( Both keys start but now only one remote fob works. Re-set the one touch windows so now no codes showing up on dash.

Thanks Saint. Unfortunately absolutely no original paperwork with the car, no security card, no manual :( I have seen reference to EKA on here - is there any other way to find it out? Funny that I am writing this as you are probably within a couple of miles from me as I am in Knaphill too!!!

Thanks, I'll keep on searching. Log book says DSE and so does badge. Either way not too bothered. I thought cloth was a no cost option.
