I have had the similar problem. Struggled for hours untill I have discovered that the system only works,if the bonnet is CLOSED.... So closed the bonnet and it was all okay!

Try the Land Rover dealer perhaps... :frusty:

My car has a dipstick to check the oil level....Don`t diesels have this? :hysterically_laughi
