You get to drive all of them well we did... The Defender is truly the best one to drive at the site, but the disco and Rangy were quick considering what they were doing, the biggest surprise for me was the little freelander went over most of the same stuff as the bigger toys. Hence I bought one...

I would have thought side bars would not protect the doors from other car door damage:) , might be worth going to your local 4x4 shop and asking if they will let you offer up a set of side steps to see if that will do, as they stick out a bit further then the side bars...:D If all else fails...
