I did it the other week the back is dead easy but the base is fiddley

Black vinyl xs I fitted new foam and heated seats I found the base the hardest to re trim

Thanks for the information I phoned national windscreens today but they wanted me to take the defender to them so they could take pictures and measure them up at least if they are wrong it's there fault 😄

It's had new doors how does the sill seal fasten as there's no holes do I have to sill off ?

Price depends on what size pipe you use what thickness and how you intend in building it hollow section pipe is cheap try egglestone steel

Tig is the dogs but it's also a slow process as when welding pressure vessels each joint has to be welded 3 times

To get the strongest weld you want to use tig or stick as mig welding cools down to quick and fractures

I'm a pipe welder by trade and a 6meter length on 60mm pipe 6mm thick is £30 a length you can buy 90 45 and tees from most steel company's and there a few quid each so you won't have to bend the pipe. Or you could measure everything up and have the hollow tube bent to the sizes you won't but...

hi does anybody have any pictures or diagrams of fitting the heated seat pads to the seat? and can you spray glue over the pads or not? thanks
