    EAS Kicker Lite (It works!!)

Absolutely! I dont wanna get stuck somewhere and have to drive home making a nice skull impression in my roof. Also I think the EAS seems to get confused and do this even when there is no fault. I suspect dirty sensors or something like this. I got no fault code when I reset and it worked...

    EAS Kicker Lite (It works!!)

I agree on the cost side, they are terribly expensive. When I used the cables and software for the first time I was very pleased but then realised if it happened again I would have to drive home to get the laptop before fixing. I then imagined how inconvenient this would be if I was out fishing...

    EAS Kicker Lite (It works!!)

Have you ever driven your car on it's bump stops? I have and the thought of hving to drive 50 miles home bouncing out of my seat is enough to buy it. I have the leads and they work but I cannot drive around with my laptop in the car it is a work laptop and if I got it stollen it would be a...

    EAS Kicker Lite (It works!!)

Yes I know I shouldn't be suprised. I bought one of these little beauties as I didn't fancy keeping my laptop in the car every time I go for a drive. Got EAS failure and plugged in the kicker. A few seconds later I get the green flashes and off we go again! I'm well chuffed!

2.5 DSE auto -is it a SLUG or what ?

I think the word I saw come up again and again was 'Gutless' Swayed me towards the V8. Having said that, 15mpg is hard to live with as well. All depends which is more important power or fuel consuption.

    how many mpg you getting

On regular petrol I am getting 15 mpg around town. Its the really short journies that hurt me and if I do a few short shop runs it really hurts my millage.

    Improve 4.6 V8 economy

Now this is the kind of topic I like to read :) Which of the things you listed have improved the economy and which did the most? Why did you change the track rods? Is this uprated or just wear and tear?

Rangie Owner - Owned for 2 weeks my thoughts

Found something similar here It has installation tips and is based in the UK. I'm not very tidy when it comes down to wiring so I might try and get someone else to do it rather than make a mess.

Rangie Owner - Owned for 2 weeks my thoughts

I really do love this car I keep finding things that make me smile. Just went out for a 50 mile drive up round hayfield, whalley bridge and glossop and then put it on the motorway to stretch it's legs. The power of that V8 is fantastic. I might start living in it. p.s I will not start...

Hi Rob, I did actually buy one but it's rubbish. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but it's a bit crackly and not very good quality.

Rangie Owner - Owned for 2 weeks my thoughts

Cheers mate. Yes I agree, when the EAS crapped out I was really down as I started to worry that I'd bought a lemon. I will probably buy one of those reset switches as well as I dont want to drive around with my laptop in the car.

Rangie Owner - Owned for 2 weeks my thoughts

Hi all After asking for some help on here I finally settled on buying a Range Rover Vogue 2001 over a Disco. I found a very nice looking Green one (three owners) on ebay and paid 8 grand for it in the end. It seemed in almost perfect condition and the low milage really did it for me. Over the...

    EAS Fault bought wrong cable

Back from a little drive and all seems well. That it can hold £94 in petrol was even more disturbing that driving round without suspension. My 3 year old daughter was appreciative and demanded that I lower the car so that she could get out.

    EAS Fault bought wrong cable

OK I did it and it is working ok. What precautions or checks should I do now? Is this likely to mean I have a real problem or is it possible that the electronics just got a bit confused? Going to nip to the petrol station to fill the bottomless tank so will give me a chance to test it. Many...

    EAS Fault bought wrong cable

    EAS Fault bought wrong cable

I am getting the generic EAS FAULT limit speed to 35mph. No other message. I have downloaded the free EASunlock software and ordered a cable. I mistakenly ordered a serial cable instead of the UBS one and dont have the port on my laptop. I am in desperate need to get this fixed as it is sat on...
