I've just done a scan of my landrover mk1 2002 using the mxiscan ms300, i now get 2 fault codes the original n/a and a second P0170, i looked it up in the book and it says fuel trim malfunction (bank 1) what does this mean and how do i fix it, or is it a garage only fix. I don't know what fuel...

The engine light went of yesterday by itself, the maxiscan ms300 came today so i went and plug it in, it lit up as in youtube vids, then turned ignition on without statring engine, pressed enter then went through started up procedure and scan, it came back zero codes. Went back in the house...

Has anyone tried the maxiscan ms300 fault code reader on a freelander mk1, will the ms300 work, i've read some good reviews that it worked and others that it didn't work on there cars. I've watched some youtube videos reviews of the maxiscan ms300 and they seem to be positive, as any one used...

Thanks, i've just looked on ebay and they have quite a few different car fault code readers around £20, do you have one you reccomend, i'll order one it'll save me a trip to the garage....thanks
