I bought my 200 TDI for £500 great engine.
I dont understand these euro things but trust me that 2.5 is not worth it.
Buy one on ebay come over and drive it back.
Try and talk to people with them and get to drive the 2 if poss the 200 will blow it into the weeds
Not sure what youre on with here.
If you are fiting the £3 blanking plate you just remove the 2 alen bolts slide in blank and tighten up. No valve removal or wireing problems.
10 mins on non aircon 20 on aircon a bit tighter fit.
come back if ive got wrong end of stick

Do be sure youre brakes are good and fit the Disco diffs, it will go well very well.
That other engine is not worth the effort.

Yes you could be right i used to be ok 20 years ago now shoulders are starting to hurt.
i thought P/S would stop the wheels being pushed every where i.e the ram would hold against
I have an old 80 trialer with a 2/4 petrol which is very good, but tend to find iam all over the place with the steering when you get bouncing around.
Can anyone tell me would P/S go on this unit
Fitted alternator to my 2/4 some years ago, i remember we had to alter a few things to fit it.
its a Lucas LRA 100 which is now shot.
Can anyone tell me what type of alternator they fit to them now as a mod.
Is it an LRA 100?
