Not checked mine lately but it seems like Im constantly putting fuel in it in this weather!!!

Just complete a 200 mile round trip in cold (very fecking cold!!) conditions.....would a radiator muff increase the heater temp.....or just get it luke warmer quicker?

Is it just a co-incidence that since fitting my safari snorkel ive noticed a reduction in mpg........just calculated my last 345miles and it came out at 25.5mpg...........(also have roofrack fitted but was regulary gettin 28ish before snorkel fitting)

Recently fitted a safari snorkel and was driving today when the rain came on so heavy it could have raised the ark..........was unable to stop and turn the snorkel head round as I was on the motorway, just wondering what impact this would have on the air intake, it felt ok!! Should you turn it...

Im getting around 27 - 30 with a hannibal rack fitted. Took it off for a week and was getting around 32mpg...........any tips on greater fuel efficiency would be appreciated as diesel just seems to be gettin more expensive up my way. most garages are 120p per litre now. 90 TD5 XS

TOOOO Much, I only paid 17 for mine and it was on an 06 plate, under 20k miles, extended LR warranty, dog guard, light guards, hannibal roof rack and full LR rubber matting.

Mine is on a hinge pin with two bolts either end, there is a link above for the hinge pin if u need one and my link gets the coloured 7mm dome nuts. Its the bolts on mine that have rusted bad as the moisture got under the paint. the ones I got of ebay are a perfect match.

Just received colour co-ordinated (botanni grey) Dome nuts from ebay seller......perfect fit and match. seller was Pro Bolt alloy M4 x 0.6 mm dome nuts 7mm grey on eBay (end time 06-Nov-10 14:30:51 GMT)

Agree. I have a Diskloc and think its the ideal security device. Its big, highly visible, easy to put on. It is heavy, but really not too bad, I got the bag to put it in and it stores neatly behind my seat. As JP says park with your wheels turned and steering lock on........once the diskloc is...

Are the standard boos alloy wheel nuts 27mm also as Im goin out to buy a new longer wrench and socket for it?

hmmmm, maybe that explains it..as it was only the locking nut cover I could get off!! So the other covers just stay on when you unbolt them?

Any tips on gettin the wheel nut covers off boost alloys......the plastic tool thingy shattered when I tried to pull it off!
