Yes mate ,The gasket was changed about 3 months ago. But it's getting a bit chillier now. Cheers anyway ,I'll change it in the morning (weather permitting)

No James , I've got a thermostat here so thought I might as well change it.

Had my head gadget changed on my 95 300 tdi disco , The temperature would get up to the red . After the gasket change there is no problem at all except my heaters are not as warm as they were. I've filled up the coolant through the bung and bled it many times , Could it be the thermostat? Cheers

The main thing is you are ok and the horses are safe. We all love our discos but life is precious. Where in wales are you from ? There's a td5 by me for sale , I'll have a look later if it's an auto.

Could be the lift pump , Easy to change and cheap.

Have you checked the fuses under the bonnet ? I'm sure that's what happened to my disco.

Looking good but I think some wheel spacers would make it look even better.

I would just change the lift pump, Very cheap and easy. My Disco just cut out on the way to work , changed the lift pump and that was that. Is there diesel in your fuel filter ?

With my old 200 disco it would only let water in when it was moving, Cracks in the guttering would open up as the disco was wallowing about. Just a thought for you. :)

The guttering on my old 200 let water in , As above I used captain Tolley and cured the leaking straight away.

A little tip when glueing the leather to your gear lever etc, use pegs to keep the leather tight otherwise it will come loose.
