just going back to the comments along the lines of its "**** easy" its easy to do a bad job, slightley harder to do a gd job, but worth spending a few months to get it RIGHT then youl have something that will last for years

im a bit confused, im looking at buying a 300tdi on an r380 gearbox... problems are: 1.blown head gasket(not actualy gone but it runs hot and has the symptoms etc) is it worth repairing it, ive been told its likely to be the bores (which is a ****ed engine...) 2. no transfer box (not a huge...

if you know what your doing then yes, not too big an issue putting it as a rangy if you use rangy running gear, engine etc and use just the series body...oh and you cant cut the chassis without an sva. on my landie i used the the series body+engine+transmition etc and just the rangy chassis and...

well a lots changed recently, ive rebuilt the front (pics of all this below) out of tube and pop rivets.....looks niice :cool::cool: i finnished the back off, it works realy well, just need some heavy duty netting to go across the back. the biggest change that will be coming....is a 200tdi...

as said, maxxi cross or dumper tyres, but THE best are cut dumpers, a cross between the two, the self cleaning of dumpers but the side slope grip of maxxi cross

will a 200tdi engine bolt up to a 300tdi auto box, im pretty sure the 200tdi will go on the manual box but when it gets to autos i go all fuzzy in the head :confused: i gues i would have to mess about with bellhousings...but which ones do i have to mess about with:confused: ta very much
