Are Landys just that well documented we hear about all the issues? Can't be as bad as Toyota as they get on the 6 o'clock news!!!!

It is looking possible but I must get £2500 for my td5 for it to be achieved. I think I should get that looking at the price/condition of others around. Wish I could have both, actually making me a bit sad it has to go!

135k. Had it for 2 years. MOT December. Epson green. Good condition, mark here and there. All oils done, new fan, drop links, arb bushes, discs and pads, snorkel. Great family vehicle.

Hi, I may have a chance to upgrade to a Disco 3 for a good price. I am very happy with my D2 and feel happy with it at the minute, but the chance to go up to a 3 is so so tempting. I am just a bit worried about REAL maintenance costs, should I be? Are they more scary than a Disco 2?

You could do with a diagnostic to point you in the right direction! £80 at Landrover, probably £30/40 to a bloke down the pub! If you happen to drive past Corby, my plug might slip in your socket if the Mrs ain't looking! !

The non ace bars are thinner than the ace bars. I would attempt to find out why your ace is not working and what happened to the pipe!!

I have Hankook Dynapro atm rf10's for the last 2 years and got me where I need to go, and plenty of tread left. Only ever seen 1 other truck with them on and don't know why???????

This remained unsolved until recently. I done the front anti roll bar bushes and the links. The banging was then coming from only the back, confirmed as ball joint on a link arm. New bushes and link arms on the rear, now all is well!!!! Used genuine links as heard bad things about aftermarket!

Silly question, how difficult is it to remove the whole body from the chassis and what haz to be done to the new chassis?

I used a large 32mm ring spanner and managed to get my trolley jack on the end of it and used the force of that to crack the bolt.

You could always disconnect the plug behind the rear right hand tail light!

Problem must have gone away!!!!
