Had my renewal thru from Lancaster yesterday - It had gone up about £25 to £172.50. but they'd included legal benefits as an option. I phoned Flux and was pleasantly surprised they they came back at £142. A quick call to Lancaster and they came down to £137.50 (also removed legal benefit)...

Correction to above ^ just had a look in my lunch break and it looks like the downpipe has pulled out of the turbo. No wonder I had fumes !!

I was trying to open my landy in a blizzard this morning, put my wellies and camo leggings on the floor and went to try and open passenger door instead. By the time I'd got back round camo leggings had blown away !!!!! Eventually found them in the conifers !! And then it got worse - bloody...

Do it !! I was in the same boat as you last year and picked up a 1993 200tdi. It's not about the speed but the pleasure of the drive and the countless weekends lying on a cold concrete drive underneath it. Wouldn't have it any other way.
