I've seen on here people talking about chemicals that will kill off rust, can someone suggest a good one? I have a newly acquired 110 that has rust right through the top of the bulkhead, I don't really have the experience to change the bulkhead, would much rather do a repair of some type...

Thanks for the replies. It's an old 2.5 the original 1988 engine. The new lift pump came with a spacer that the old one didn't have, and it did occur to me that this may affect the position of the internal lever against the cam, but it did seem to connect with a decent amount of resistance...

I have just replaced the fuel left pump, and bled the fuel system using the bleed nut on top of the fuel filter and the nut on top of the pump. To bleed it, I used the lever on the lift pump, loosened the bleed valve until the bubbles stopped and only fuel was being pushed out. I have done...
