    TD5 axle fit

Hi I'm new so please be patient? I have a 1990 200tdi 90 and I would like to fit disc brakes to the rear, would 2001 TD5 axles fit straight on ? What spline are they? And what mods would I need to do? I have tried the search feature but can't find anything to do with TD5 axles Thanks Chris

    Chassis question

My chassis is good except for the rear crossmember and front outriggers, I was looking for another chassis to make into a rolling chassis then swap my body onto but I think I may strip and weld mine and get it galvanised, they do it local to me and I've been told they charge about £300 to do it...

    Chassis question

So is it just the fuel tank and engine mounts? I'm not worried about moving the fuel tank to the back.

    Chassis question

Can any one help? I've got a 1990 defender 90 200 tdi I've been offered a galvanised chassis for a 90 but it's for a td5. Is it just the engine mounts that would need changing or is it more involved? Also fuel tank ?

I'm thinking body off and strip the lot, I'm going to do some research on how difficult it is to remove the body and recondition axles, gearbox and transfer box ect, the engine appears to be ok but I will check it out before making a decision, I like the look of the lifted defenders so that might...

Hi just to say hello, I've had a few land rovers and range rovers but I've just paid for a 1990 defender 90 pick up. It's fairly straight on the body work but the interior looks like a bomb site, there's a gap where the front outriggers used to be and the rear crossmember is like Swiss...
