Headunit and cage out. Two screws pointing up at the top of that hole. Remove ashtray and coin trays. Two screws behind each one. Remove cup holders. Carefully pull out central locking switch and the two centre switches above the coin tray. There is one screw hidden behind these either side...

Took it to the garage yesterday.... the power steering s#!t itself all over the road..... new steering box and pipe required. would have had a go myself but quite frankly I just couldn’t be bothered in this weather with no garage/workshop and need it done by tomorrow.

It should be fairly simple. Unfortunately the headunit I have doesn’t have the wire intended to turn on the amp installed into the iso plug but the wire is there in the bundle of wires with the two iso plugs. I’m not sure why they didn’t insert it into the plug to make that connection a little...

There’s a wire that you need to connect to the blue wire in the power iso plug that turns the vehicle amp on.

Guess I was luckier than I thought then.... I just put a 17mm open ended spanner on the flats of the drop link and a 19mm socket and breaker bar on the nut and hit the bar with a mallet and then undid them.... tho the threads were a bit rusted beyond the nuts so made it tight going but just...

All sorted at last! What I anticipated as 3-4 hours turned into a day and a half.... It looked easy in the workshop manual! “Remove two bolts securing pipes to chassis” failed to mention the nuts rusting away and seized... cue about an hour on each one with dremel working at awkward angles...

Yeah, mine is iso connectors. It’s got little multi plugs in the actual headset but it fans out to iso, usb, rca etc to plug everything into. Have fun!!

Assuming you buy/have a head unit with iso connectors, no.
