    The Ark Royal now stops properly as it should have done < you should have seen the state of the rear discs << alleged full service history .. my a**e :mad::mad::mad::mad: >> and the ABS / Pump / Accumulator / Relay is all "tickety boo" n' behaving as it should Phew :):):):) GB

    hope so ... second hand abs pump assembly was 95 pounds new wabco accumulator was 100 odd quid inc delivery should be all sorted by tomorrow pm cheers GB

    STOP PRESS re ABS faults < 4.0 HSE yr 2000 111k miles > Next chess game .. latest MOVE by the Ark Royal ... the ABS pump has now failed ... it has finally given up its ghost to the WABCO ABS gods... went for a test run and then when going thru the workshop diagnostics = bam ... 3 amigos...

    yep just below the actuator .. have picked up that & that needs to be fault checked first ta Gb

    Wammers I really appreciate your help yep original LR relay new replacement part # PRC9566 is in @ # 17 and new LR relay in at # 2 + new EAS #20 & # 6 see attached So far so good ... ABS fault now not showing ... bated breath ... Cheers n thanks for guidance GB

    will let you all know when the bits arrive system is not dead ... it throws abs fault errors but not all the time relay 17 pull out / reinsert ... so pointless til then .... and I know you trying to be helpful but don't be so grumpy / rude mate cheers GB

    wammers relay wiggling was to stop it .... smiles rule of thumb ... never trust a relay .... will check circuits when I have fitted new relay ... thks for input GB

    ABS light sometimes all ok goes out after 6 mph then other times abs / tc lights are on then dreaded dead pedal no braking power assistance pump not running .. wiggle relay 17 and it wakes up

    agreed ... thats the requirement according to the brake bible waiting for the acc & relay to arrive and then fitting all the new rear brake bits ..rear brakes are shot to bits ... previous owner skimped

    5000 miles and the oil is changed .. and no tracks .. BTW I have another marmite car mazda RX8 40th anniv you should see the wide variations on oil debate re forums for those cheers GB
