Does the upper shaft have any lockstops or other bits in it or is it purely a shaft. I guess it's best to remove coupler etc the center it. Oh the joys of previous bodgers

I had similar but was the idler on the tensioner. Somebody had managed to fit a narrower one which sliced the belt along one edge over time. Iirc the new one was 25mm wide and old one 18mm which is narrower than the belt.

Possible I guess. I think you can open the outstation by gently pulling and pressing in the tabs. If it's wet, you may have corrosion on the pcb. They are the same unit on both front doors.iirc. Maybe swap sides.

Next one is door outstation. It receives signal from becm and controls mirrors, locks etc. Reduces number of wires in door jamb.

Amr6355 is amplifier for the stereo speakers. One in each door. That's a highline system iirc
