I think the loom may be more. It was mentioned on Wheeler dealers when they changed it.

I would disconnect the power box for starters and see if it still does it.

Diesel injector loom is known to go bad in bmw's. AFAIK the loom is about £60.

4.0 v8 is same autobox that has 182hp. Why a problem? :)

Hopeful 90% there now. Some clown put it on upside down. There are 2 cutouts to allow a bend under parcel shelf. Will look again in a few days

Top corners.The rubber sshrinks a bit over time causing the top left and right corners to pull away allowing water to run inside. You will probably find the water is coming in and dripping under the parcel shelf holder.

Yep, but if you wanted to, not saying you should, Sikaflex 255 would be good. Im about to fix mine as mine is doing the same.

Have you checked the wiring from the sensor to ecu for damage/water etc

BTW, looking at diagram, it can only really be 3 things if you say it has 12v at the connector. Earth point under seat, element or feed from the relay onwards.

So nothing in the upper bit. Lovely. I'm "guessing" that the steering wheel has been adjusted, as lock to lock is slightly different each side. It stops with the corner of the boss about 4in different in relation to the shroud. Thanks guys
