yes , you need plastic primer. check out your local bodyshop supplys , and get some bumper tex " fine grade ", which is in aerosols, and will do a great job...

if your looking at the l.r.m route , then contact your local bodyshop supplys they will be able to sort you out. if your looking at something that wont react then waterbase is the best product , and clearcoat . but that will cost you a fortune. using 2k is your other route which will air dry...
