    Well i noticed mine was faulty when driving, pretty tight on full lock in forward or reverse started to scrub the tyres on tight turns Although its still reasonably tight on full lock. Been told this is normal for permanent 4wd. And they are good for around 70,000 miles on average...

    Tried doing it properly to strip it all back. but the first spray paint i used reacted. in the end used hammerite and brushed it on. will post a picture tomorrow if i can of my bodge job.

    Tried that with mine and it went all horrible on me. got peed of and coated it in hammerite looks ok actually surprised. second time round i did it left on the car.

    Might be of use, I fitted a new exhaust system a few weeks back and when you undo the clamp holding the back box onto the middle section you can twist the mid and back box to raise/lower it away from the drive shaft and subframe.

    Hill decent control wouldn't help for going uphill. once selected and in first gear it limits the speed for downhill slippery surface. something like 5mph thats what this video suggests. Car File 06/16/98 - YouTube
