I'm getting ready to replace the bulkhead on my 200tdi 90 with a 300tdi bulkhead . Any hints for matching up the wiring what doesn't help is its an ex millatry 90 so I have some extra wiring for that and the wiring thats already there is for the n/a engine that was in it when I got it. The 300...

Sorry stupid question but the front vent panels are they steel or alloy cause I've just rubbed mine down to paint themso I need to know if I can use ordinary primmer or etch primmer on them sorry :behindsofa:

Changed my gauge cause it wuz easyier to match the sender on the engine , am poz that the n/a gauge doesn't work with the 200 tdi sender,sure there is quite a few old threads on this as oil dripper says.

you need to get a 200 tdi gauge to match the sender . I had the same prob when I swapped from n/a to 200 tdi

started to prep for spraying my replacement bulkhead for my 90

might jist want to put new ones in too. best to be safe.

remembered tae stick the road tax disc on the windscreen, n picked up my replacement bulkhead thats had a bit of patchin done to it. It looked perfict when I bought it, till I got home. Still it's better than the one thats on there now.

halved the doors on my ex mil 90 cleaned them up stuck in new seals, so just maybe that'll stop the water gettin in.

I have dealt with tayside land rovers a lot , he is good and his work is good too. He uses oe land rover galvanised chassis not richards or any other makers. Makes you wonder why land rover doesn,t just build them that way from the start, when they can supply them.

Buster is there much modding to do to the td5 bulkhead to get it to fit onto a 200r tdi body, specially at the gear box tunnel. can you let me know. cheers timberjock.

Sorry if this sounds looks a bit thick , but I want to slit the doors on the ninety to reseal the two halfs, as this is an ex millatry l/r it has old series type doors and the two bolts just turn when I try to loosen off the bolts so I need to know if there is somthin else to be removed to get...

replaced the mid section of the exhaust on the nintey , drove the bus about a bit.

cleaned the inside of the windscreen of the ninety. it was horribble but can see oot noo.

both pumps are the same just that the union fittings are differant at the back your tdi hass crimped ends on the rubber hose where the n/a fitting is nut , jist a big version of a brake pipe. Maybe a hydraulic firm could help you out .

yup do have a trailer socket . unplugged all the wires thinking that maybe the prob. unplugged fog light at the same end to. When i put the switch on it affects the head lights by dimming them. So could this be a relay prob as in its earthing out, have no probs with lights other wise. It is...

The box at the back is open an wires all over. D on't sem to be any probs there. Cheers MHM its eatin about a dozen fuses tonight and one of them was 30 amp tryin to see wher e the prob is. :D
