The back is definately 10, ill have to wait till tomorrow to pull a front shaft, if the back was changed it was the whole axle that was changed!

Brill! I gotta feeling im running 24 on the front and 10 on the back!

Im aware about the half shafts :) Are the ratios any different between the 10 and 24?

That must be the case then, can i fit a 24 into the same casing? If i have a 10 spline on the front will it cause any issues?

I tried adjusting the timing, it coughed a couple of times but nothing. What has confused me the most that up until it ran out of fuel it was running almost fine!! it would always start first time.... then it runs out of fuel and BAM nothing :lol: I dunno, gonna have one more day on it then...

Evening chaps, I have a 1994 Discovery 3.9 V9 auto, last week it was involved in an accident and has made a slight mess of the front end, it ran fine after the accident and i continued to use it until tuesday when it ran out of fuel..... Ive put 15 litres of unleaded in tried to start it but...

Just to update.... Its still occasionally idling like a bag of crap, however, the transition from cold to hot is ALOT worse, when started from cold it runs great, then as it warms up it gets worse and worse (backfired with big cloud of black smoke from the exhaust, stuttering etc etc) until...

A friend of mine has experienced an LPG backfire and we think it has damaged te MAF sensor, it has the flap on the inside..... We are in need of one to replace the potentiall damaged one....

Well i think its definatley the alternator, wipped the belt off this afternoon started it up and put it into gear and it idle'd fine. Next thing is to sort out why it idles at 2k RPM when cold :(
