Hi, not all 300 tdi engines were affected by the out of allignment issue so if yours is runing streight and true then just a belt is the way forward ! dont fix if it aint broken !!

Hi, if you have good oil presure at cold start up and as soon as oil warms it looses presure there is a clearence issue, take a oil presure reading @ tick over cold and tick over hot !!

hi, you could try fiting a new expansion tank cap as these items give problems on your vehicle, and can be costly!

Another angle to check with your problem is that you might have a porous block. We have had cases of this problem in the past.
