Cheers for the help. I haven't checked the wheel bearings, but I haven't noticed anything un towards with vibrations etc.etc. It feels like it could be a vacuum pump issue???? This problem is intermittent as the brakes are completely normal again.

    Run Out of Fuel!!! (Doh)

Hi I have just run my 1999 TD5 Defender out of fuel. I have put some more juice in her, but she won't start. My old 200 TDi had a manual fuel lift pump. Is it the same with the TD5, or is it an electric pump, and therefore should pump through itself???? Thanks.

    TD5 Cooling Problem

Hi My Defender 1999 TD5 has just developed a cooling problem. It is overheating. I fitted a new water pump about 6 months ago, so it shouldn't be that. This morning, I noticed there wasn't any interior heating when on full heat. Any suggestions??? Thanks.

Hi I have started to notice that there is a momentary stutter of the engine whilst I accelerate in my 1999 TD5 Defender. It feels as though there is water in the fuel. I will drain the fuel filter, but does anyone have any different ideas. Thanks.

I cannot seem to un-thread the drag link from the steering damper bracket. Is this a standard clockwise...
