I've been thinking about making a side exit exhaust by removing the back box, use some flexi exhaust pipe, a boy racer chrome slip on end and a finisher for the outside. Will post some pics if I ever get round to it.:D

Can anyone tell me if the procedure for doing a 300 tdi head gasket is the same as a 200 tdi. I gotta do my mates rangie over christmas and not got any info on a 300 tdi engine. I've been told that the procedure is the same for both engines but the bloke who told me this is not the most...

Had the same problem on my mates 90, we did the nut up tight again as a stop gap fix (bodge) but it still seems to be ok. I know this is probablly not the correct way of fixing it but its saved me alot of hassle in mending his diff.:D

Topped battery up with a bit more acid, splashed some in my eye made some strange noises and rinsed eye with water. Now charging hope its gonna be ok.

Ebay,auto trader and landrover mags are a good place to look but for that sort of money be very carefull what you buy. Take someone with you that knows what they are looking at as nice looking landy can take your eye off a rotten chassis. A mate of mine turned up with a real nice looking...

I've got a disco rad in my defender, half the price of a proper 200tdi one and fitted straight in, pipes are all the same. I think IC are the same anorl.
