Same on the sereck I took off did that on both ends had about a 4mm gap on infeed side could feel the boost pressure at front of car It had been a bit lazy up to 2000 rpm which with vnt it normally isn't tried a new maf no change so smoke tested system and intercooler was leaking where end...

Had nothing but trouble with sereck it split 3 times before I gave up and bought an alisport one had no issues with it since It split twice on the end cap welds gave up when it started leaking where cooling tubes join end cap

We went on a hunch it was bad weather at time going through decent puddles threw up limp mode changed switch stopped it till next downpour about 6 weeks later and up they popped The water was shorting wiring to the transfer box

Check the wiring loom where if runs through the clip on the side of the transfer box been known to rub through the loom and short out could save the expense of xyz switch Af least I know I've a good spare for the next time it takes its bat and ball home

Check crankshaft pulley they can make a racket when they fail some good vids on YouTube

I'd go for an alisport intercooler I've had a sereck on mine it split down the seams each end and had to be welded and the tubes are on the thin side side the alisport is better made and thicker on the wall on the tubes

Have seen similar when bolts have been fitted in the wrong order in the bell housing and they have punched through into the sump

Yep manual prop will fit an auto I've been running one for years due to manual being alot cheaper get a grease able replacement

Panhard rod bushes or if it is worse when towing look at outer watts linkage bushes could be a bit of rear wheel steering

If you have a hydraulic firm close by take pipe off both parts and get them to repair the pipe I got mine done for £30
