Had another look underneath as follows: No play in and out on prop flange, there is a small of play at the nearside wheel. However the offside wheel turns clockwise freely but is very very stiff counter clockwise? Could a brake give these symptoms?

I am trying to sort out this judder, I have taken off the rear prop as suggested and rotated the input flange to the diff and there is about 1 cm play how much should there be? if this is normal any other suggestions as the judder has gone with the rear prop removed and driving it in 4 wheel drive.

I have had a good look underneath at prop bolts, props and U spring bolts plus I have had the wheels balanced but I still have this rumble in 3rd & 4th gears. Although I said last time I could drive out of it after giving it a run yesterday that's not true it just gets faster so less obvious...
